Created by sisters, Caroline Quinn and Kathy Sherry who dreamt of showcasing stunning vintage treasures in a fun and laid back manner. They adore meeting their customers during appointments and focus on personal attention. The only thing serious about these gals is their love of vintage and dedication to Dirty Fabulous. Appointments with them will be mean a riot of colour and a whole lot of laughter!
Dirty Fabulous is vintage boutique that originated in Dublin and specialises in beautiful bridal, occasion wear and accessories from the 1920’s to 1970’s and beyond. The boutique is now open in Monaghan as the sisters return home.
Whether you want to rock a vintage wedding dress on your big day, pick up the perfect little party number or find the next key piece for your vintage collection, Dirty Fabulous is for you!
With a hand-selected collection spanning over one hundred years of timeless and dazzling vintage fashion, Dirty Fabulous can offer couture quality tailoring and fabrics without designer prices.
Our History
Kathy and Caroline have a rich history of experience with vintage and period clothing having grown up surrounded by a family of costumers and seamstresses spanning generations. From early childhood they learned the importance of fine tailoring and beautiful fabrics. Their devotion to vintage clothing developed early on as they searched for unique and timeless pieces of fashion history for their own wardrobes.
It was their mission to bring these one-of-a-kind vintage gowns to the fashion savvy gals of Ireland. After travelling the world in search of the finest vintage purveyors, Dirty Fabulous opened it’s doors in 2008 to resounding success.
In 2010 Dirty Fabulous moved to it’s current location in a Victorian building on the first floor of 21 Wicklow Street. In 2019 the shop made another exciting move, to Monaghan.
They have been featured in major editorial magazines at home and internationally, bridal websites and on TV. Check out their press here.
Much of Dirty Fabulous's success has been due to word-of-mouth from their gorgeous customers who have delighted in spreading the Dirty Fabulous word. Many of their customers return year after year, relying on Dirty Fabulous vintage for all their special occasion needs!

Dirty Fabulous is a small, family owned and run business and because of this we are closed at certain times during the year to facilitate annual leave, sourcing and buying trips.
